She explained that it was one of the first new songs she wrote. “I feel like everything sounds kind of different,” she noted of the LP . “But I was using that as a through line. I just loved it.” Slayyyter promoted the album with a performance at Coachella in April. Rolling Stone noted that she “delivered one of the most striking sets of the entire first weekend , joining the stacked roster of women who dominated conversation around this year’s festival.” She is set to perform at Governors Ball Music Festival in New York in June, Lollapalooza in Chicago in July, and Reading & Leeds Festivals in the U.K. Her own tour will kick off on Sept. 3 in Vancouver and continue through North America, South America, Europe, and the U.K. legs will feature Pearly Drops as support.
