He stated he has already spoken with some Republicans interested in defeating Tiffany. While Crowley intends to include voters who supported primary challenger Francesca Hong, he indicated he would not campaign with some of her high-profile surrogates, specifically ruling out an appearance with social media influencer Hasan Piker.

Despite efforts to unite the party, Crowley remains firm on policy differences that emerged during the primary, specifically rejecting a moratorium on data center development. Instead, he advocates for legislative "guardrails" on data centers to balance environmental and water protection with development. Supporters of Crowley are concerned that Hong's past social media posts regarding defunding the police and canceling Thanksgiving could pose a political liability for his general election campaign.
