A Tennessee judge has issued a temporary restraining order against Bryan Seaver, the late singer's nephew and former head of security, following allegations of threats and intimidation.

A Tennessee judge granted a temporary restraining order Wednesday against Bryan Seaver and his security firm, Squadron Augmented Protection Services. The order follows a complaint filed by She's Alive, the company managing Dolly Parton's estate, which accuses Seaver of engaging in a campaign of threats and intimidation. Seaver, who served as Parton's head of security for two decades, was terminated by the estate last week.

Allegations of Threats and Coercion

Court filings from She's Alive allege that Seaver sent escalating threats to the estate's staff, legal counsel, and business partners following Parton's death last month. The documents claim Seaver threatened to ruin the singer's brand and partnerships if the estate did not pay him. The estate further alleged that Seaver, a former military contractor, used his background to intimidate employees, including describing himself as a "killer" in communications with lawyers.

Seaver's Response and Legal Standing

Seaver has denied the allegations, stating that the emails and text messages cited in the court filings were taken out of context. He characterized the exchanges as "rage talk" between individuals grieving the singer's death. Following his termination last week, Seaver and his company described the dismissal as unexpected and unexplained, asserting that they refuse to be intimidated by the estate's actions.

Terms of the Restraining Order

Under the terms of the temporary order, Seaver and his company are prohibited from contacting or coming within 1,000 feet of She's Alive employees, attorneys, and business partners. The order is intended to prevent further interference with the estate's business operations and relationships. The estate is managed by Danny Nozell, Parton's longtime manager.
