Affected Regions and Timing

The warning specifically targets the northwestern Aegean region, including the coastal and offshore areas of Magnesia in Thessaly, the Sporades islands, and Halkidiki. Central and northern parts of Evia are also expected to be affected from Tuesday morning through the afternoon. The weather system is driven by a cold front arriving from northern Europe, which is expected to interact with warmer air masses remaining over southern Europe.
