The event, which donated $10 million to nonprofits supporting women and girls, featured guest appearances from Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette, and Stevie Nicks. The festival was inspired by the Nineties-era Lilith Fair.

Performances with Musical Heroes

Rodrigo performed with Sarah McLachlan, beginning with a duet of "Building a Mystery" followed by "Angel," which the pair dedicated to the late Dolly Parton. Alanis Morissette also joined Rodrigo on stage to perform "Ironic," filling in for Karen O, who withdrew from the festival. The two previously performed together in May 2022 during Rodrigo’s Sour tour. Stevie Nicks joined the set to perform "Landslide" alongside Rodrigo. Nicks praised Rodrigo’s ability to organize the festival, noting that she was "awestruck" by the grace with which Rodrigo managed the event.

The Daisy Chain festival was inspired by Lilith Fair, the traveling festival founded by Sarah McLachlan. In addition to her collaborations, Rodrigo performed songs from her new album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, and debuted her single "Serena Joy." Her set also included tracks from her previous albums Sour and Guts, such as "Bad Idea Right?," "Good 4 U," and "Drivers License."
