Additionally, Barbara Kingsolver’s 'Partita' follows a pianist in rural Appalachia navigating themes of class, art, and family loss.

The list includes a new book from the author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning 'Trust.' Titled 'PLY,' the story is set centuries in the future and follows an orphan working as a 'pincher' who steals electricity to support an underground music scene. Another notable entry is 'The Disappearers,' a Booker Prize-longlisted novel set in Jamaica that examines a hate crime through various media, including journals and letters.
